The ISAPS Humanitarian Award recognizes extraordinary humanitarian and outreach contributions in plastic surgery - work that restores dignity, rebuilds lives after trauma, and expands access to high-quality surgical care in underserved communities worldwide.
This award reflects the belief that excellence in aesthetic plastic surgery is defined not only by scientific and artistic achievement, but also by compassion, integrity, and global responsibility. It honors individuals or teams led by an ISAPS member whose work has made a meaningful impact through outreach, service, education, and sustainable capacity-building.
Any ISAPS Member who:
We invite you to submit your nominations. You are required to provide: The name of the Nominee, The name of the Program, Region served and a Program Summary (maximum 500 words).
The deadline for nominations is 12:00 UTC on April 8, 2026.
This impact award aims to honor individuals who have demonstrated exceptional commitment to improving access to care, advancing surgical education, and delivering meaningful impact through outreach initiatives.
Eligible contributions may include reconstructive or aesthetic care delivered in underserved or crisis-affected communities, initiatives in low-resource or disaster settings, and programs that advance training, mentorship, and long-term local capacity.
