The ISAPS Expert Program offers ISAPS Resident and Associate members the opportunity to attend a specialized intensive one-on-one training program with a long-serving ISAPS member who is recognized as being a leader in their field.
Please read this information carefully before applying to ensure you understand all the steps involved in the application and visit approval process.
Open to ISAPS Resident* and Associate Members only. *Residents must be in their final two years of training at the time of applying.
Applicants must maintain a valid ISAPS membership throughout the entire Expert period.

Your application must include:
A completed application form (including your preferred Expert, proposed dates, and duration of visit).
A short statement of motivation. Explain why you have requested this Expert and what you hope to achieve from this program.
An official letter of recommendation from your training director or head of department.
Your CV and a professional photo.
Teaching formats and visit durations differ between Experts, please review their profile carefully before applying.
Submit your application as soon as it is complete - applications are accepted all year round!
After an eligibility check, your application will be sent to your selected Expert to review to assess your application.
If suited to the selected Expert, your application will be approved; if not, your Expert will either reject the application or suggest alternatives until both parties confirm a suitable schedule. You may be requested to select a different Expert for consideration.
The visit will only be confirmed once both you and your Expert agree on the final agreed dates.
